This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, cancellations, and service discontinuations are handled on the Vidhyalay platform (“Platform”). By subscribing to or using Vidhyalay services, you agree to the terms stated below.


1. Subscription-Based Services

Vidhyalay operates on a subscription-based SaaS (Software as a Service) model. Schools and institutions subscribe to plans based on selected features, student limits, and service duration.

All subscriptions are activated after successful payment and confirmation.


2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Cancellation by School / Institution

  • Schools may request cancellation of their subscription at any time by contacting the Vidhyalay support team.

  • Cancellation will stop future renewals but does not automatically qualify for a refund of the current subscription period.

  • Access to the Platform will continue until the end of the paid subscription term unless otherwise agreed.

2.2 Cancellation by Vidhyalay

Vidhyalay reserves the right to suspend or cancel services if:

  • Terms & Conditions are violated

  • Payment obligations are not met

  • The Platform is misused or used unlawfully

  • Required by legal or regulatory authorities

In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.


3. Refund Policy

3.1 General Refund Rule

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable once the service has been activated.

  • This includes annual, monthly, promotional, or discounted plans.

3.2 Exceptions

Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate or excess payment made by the customer

  • Technical issues that prevent access to the Platform and remain unresolved despite reasonable support efforts

  • Any other case explicitly approved in writing by Vidhyalay management

All refund decisions are final and at the sole discretion of Vidhyalay.


4. No Refund Scenarios

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Partial usage of the subscription period

  • Change of mind after purchase

  • Non-usage of features by the School

  • Downgrading of subscription plans

  • Termination due to violation of Terms & Conditions

  • Issues arising from incorrect data entry or user mismanagement


5. Custom & Enterprise Packages

  • Payments made for Custom Packages, enterprise solutions, or specially configured services are strictly non-refundable.

  • These services involve dedicated resources, configuration, and setup.


6. Renewal & Upgrades

  • Subscription renewals are billed as per the selected plan.

  • Upgrades to higher plans may be charged on a prorated basis at Vidhyalay’s discretion.

  • Downgrades do not qualify for refunds of unused subscription value.


7. Refund Processing (If Approved)

  • Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

  • Processing time may take 7–14 working days, depending on the payment gateway or banking institution.

  • Any applicable transaction or gateway charges may be deducted.


8. Data Access After Cancellation

  • Upon cancellation or subscription expiry, access to the Platform may be restricted or disabled.

  • Schools are advised to request data export before subscription expiry if required.

  • Data retention and deletion are handled as per Vidhyalay’s Privacy Policies and applicable laws.


9. Policy Updates

Vidhyalay reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.
Changes will be updated on this page, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
